The Birmingham Calligraphy Guild, formerly known as Les Enlumineurs,
seeks to promote the art of beautiful writing in the Birmingham
metropolitan area and surrounding states.
Our membership consists of a very diverse
group of calligraphers, from the hobbyist to the full-time professional and
every level of interest in between. We come from Alabama, Tennessee,
Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Kentucky and many of our members travel
to Birmingham to participate in the numerous learning opportunities hosted
